Til Afrodite

Programme note: Til Afrodite (for Aphrodite) is a work based on poetry by Sappho. The rhythmical structure of the work is based on Sapphic stanza. The first fragment by Sappho is the basis of the work where she writes to Aphrodite and wishes for her to be her sworn companion.
